Kathryn Budig: Master Teacher
An internationally celebrated yoga teacher and author, Kathryn Budig is known for her ability to empower her students through her message, "aim true." She is a warrior for self-acceptance, honesty, and helping her students and readers find true balance.
Kathryn was born in Kansas, went to high school in Princeton NJ, and eventually graduated from the University of Virginia with a double degree in English and Drama. She moved to Los Angeles to become an actress; while there, she did her yoga teacher training under the tutelage of Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller.
Kathryn is the author of The Women's Health Big Book of Yoga and Aim True. She is also creator of the Aim True Yoga DVD produced by Gaiam. She is a weekly columnist for Yoga Journal and has been the yoga contributor to Women's Health magazine for 5 years. Kathryn is the founder of the non-profit Poses for Paws, and serves on the Yahoo! Health advisory board. She is also a sponsored athlete in Under Armour's "I WILL WHAT I WANT" campaign.
